This project includes supporting 72 smallholders with small drip irrigation systems. The sources of irrigation water for these systems are mostly shallow wells, ponds; stream or a river, Solar pumping systems will beused to lift water frorn the source to the overhead tank for the drip irrigation systems, A total of 72 small solar-powered pumps are delivered that will be installed-in sites located in Blantyre, Zornba, Neno and Phalombe, Karenga, Chitipa, Mzimba North, Kasungu, Salima; Nkhorakota, Mulanje ,Thyolo and Chiradzulu Districts
