CAA Energy has completed the supply, installation, and commissioning of a solar PV off-grid system for ENGO gGmbH Uganda at an orphanage and school supporting more than 100 resident children and over 250 students.
The installed system consists of 8 kWp solar PV capacity and 15 kWh battery storage powering highly efficient electric pressure cookers for daily meal preparation. The scope included delivery, installation, commissioning, staff training, and operation and maintenance support.
By replacing firewood cooking with solar powered electric cooking, the system enables monthly savings of approximately USD 100, supporting the long-term sustainability of the orphanage.
CAA Energy has provided this service on own cost to support the orphanage.
